Global art initiative Havana Cultura is bringing the very best of Cuba’s new musical talent to the world, with the launch of a double album of contemporary Cuban music.
Developed in conjunction with world renowned DJ and music producer, Gilles Peterson, the Gilles Peterson Presents Havana Cultura album is the culmination of a 12 month project, which saw Gilles Peterson find the very best up and coming musical talent in Havana. It represents the biggest collection of contemporary Cuban musicians in a single musical initiative, since Cuba’s most famous musical export to date, Buena Vista Social Club®.
